| How shallow are we?
Trendy or not trendy... does it really matter? it seems like everyone is getting more and more into the "mode" of having to have the lastest things or trying to make themselves fit into the newest fashion trends. Does it really change who a person is, if they have the most stylish outfit? or does it just make a person more confident, knowing that they look good and fit in? It seems like many people based their judgements on looks alone, though... it's true. Everyone is caught trying to be someone they are not to some degree because we have to admit, there are just some things we would never want to "be caught dead in." But why do we care so much and why do we take these things to heart? It is because we care more about what other people think than what we think or believe in. So by wearing the latest things, it ultimately makes you fit into our superficial society. I hope materialism to the extreme someday doesn't take over everyone...

| so i guess i'll finally make an entry...
so much has been going on, i don't even know where to start. my weekend was not as productive as i hoped it would be, mainly because i did everything possible to get away from the horror of studying! not to mention i have never studied this much in my life, especially on saturdays. as disgusting as that may sound, it sure does "take a load off your back" during the week. i can't believe that i'm taking this many classes my last semester, being swamped with work is one thing, but coming home dead on thursdays really suck. i can't wait till i'm finally done, choosing where i want to transfer to is harder than i thought. the more i think and obsess over one school, my mind changes and i'm left driving myself insane. so far though, i'm planning on going to san diego, but i'm not positive about it. aside from all that babbling... i have so much on my mind and so much to do that i need a break from this hectic lifestyle of sleepless nights and looking like road kill. spring break is coming up and i can't wait to be reunited with lilybily and perla!!! not only that, i can honestly say i have never missed lina this much!!! and shes finally coming home in 2 months! i can't believe i'm going to post this, i usually write long entries and end up deleting them because who actually reads xanga nowadays?! =)
i promise, my next post will hopefully be more exciting! HAHA |

| I know its been years since i've written in here, but i was reading a bunch of old posts that i wrote like 3 years ago, and i realized all of those things bring back so many old memories. i'm kind of glad that i kept one of these "online journals." so much has changed in the past few years and i feel like bringing the life back to my xanga! =)
